Yesterday I had my 4th birthday party. It was a fantastic day which lasted well into the evening.
In the morning I helped Mama pack all the loot bags for all my friends to take away after the party. Afterwards Mama finished making all the lovely yummy food for the party and then we headed off to Essex Hall to set up and get ready. All my friends arrived at 3 o'clock and whilst we waited for the entertainer to start, Mama did some face painting. I had some glitter and a loveheart, but Lottie and Ellen both had butterflies on their faces.
The entertainer, Great Kate, was brilliant fun. She made us all laugh and kept us happy for well over an hour. After that we all sat down for yummy tea and once everyone had finished eating Mama bought out my birthday cake. It was a lovely pink and blue butterfly that she had made all by herself. After blowing out the candles and making a wish, can't tell you what, it's supposed to be a secret, all my friends and I had great fun running wild around the hall.
After everyone had gone and we'd tidied up the hall, we went back home along with Auntie Louise, Harry, Teagahn, Grandma Books, Steve, Bren and baby Felix, and Gareth and Heidi. Lottie and her Dad, Jim, came round later on and we partied into the night.
Today I had the lovely pleasure of opening all my birthday presents. It was the best fun ever and although I was really excited, I took my time. Every present was really beautiful and I felt ever so lucky to have such lovely friends.
Papa took me to the allotment in the afternoon, as Mama wasn't feeling very well - she said she'd drunk too much Cava the night before. I don't know what Cava is, but if it makes you that sick, I don't ever want to try it.
